I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the DOIT department at The University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. My research and teaching interests focus on data science applications in business analytics, advertising, television, social media, and crowdfunding.
I completed my PhD in Information Systems at NYU Stern in 2017. My advisor was Foster Provost. My dissertation focused on the use of massive individual-level data sets and predictive modeling to improve our understanding of the ways in which behaviors are connected to demographic and social characteristics.
Prior to starting at Stern, I worked for four years at an online advertising agency, doing predictive modeling and data mining. I have a BS in Mathematical Sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
